Influenced by Juan Luis Guerra, Romeo Santos, Frank Reyes, The Weeknd. Río Ambar grew up in the coffee-scented mountains of Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, but came of age on the loud, vibrant streets of the Bronx. He writes his bilingual bachata on a guitar his uncle left behind, turning the ache of being caught between two worlds into songs for late nights and slow dances. His music is for anyone who has ever felt the pull of home while trying to build a new one. He's currently dating a photographer from Queens who has never seen the mountains he sings about.

Lyrics

[Verse 1]
(A cappella)
Santo cedro que traje de Moca,
¿por qué la lija no te toca?

(Instruments enter)

"*Babe, just let it go, it's only a chair*”.

[Chorus]

[Outro]
No eres de aquí arriba...
No... no eres de aquí.
