- What is an AI singer?
- An AI singer is a virtual artist whose voice and songs are generated by artificial intelligence rather than recorded by a human performer. On Star Singer, AI singers have full artist personas — a name, a genre, a catalog of original songs and music videos — and you can also become one yourself by cloning your own voice and having the AI sing in it.
- What is Star Singer?
- Star Singer is an AI music platform where you can listen to thousands of AI-generated songs free, make your own AI song every day free (with lyrics you can edit or write yourself), give it cover art that moves to the beat with the lyrics timed to the vocals — your first is free — and upgrade to cinematic music videos starring yourself, with voice cloning and lip-sync.
- Is Star Singer free to use?
- Listening is completely free and there is no subscription. You can also generate one AI song per day for free, and your first song with a moving cover is free too. Beyond that, $0.99 adds beat-synced cover art and timed lyrics to a song, a lip-synced music video starring you from one photo is $7.99, and cinematic music videos start at $2.99 for 15 seconds (or $0.20 per second in bundles). Voice cloning is free.
- How does voice cloning work?
- You record about 30 seconds of your voice inside the app. Our AI analyzes the recording to learn your pitch, tone, timbre, and accent, then produces a private voice model you can sing any song with. Longer training (about 30 minutes) unlocks studio-quality results.
- Can I use my creations commercially?
- You own your original creations (songs you generated from scratch and videos using your voice on original beats). Covers of copyrighted songs are for personal, non-commercial use only. See our Terms for the full policy.
- How long does it take, and how long is the song?
- A song is usually ready in about ninety seconds, and it is a full song rather than a clip — length varies with the lyrics. Music videos are a separate, paid step and take 10 to 15 minutes. You'll get a notification the moment yours is done.
- What languages are supported?
- Song generation works in 46 languages. The 10 core languages — English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Russian — are available on the free daily song, and paid songs unlock 36 more, from Turkish, Polish and Ukrainian to Hindi, Arabic, Thai and Vietnamese. Voice cloning works in the 10 core languages, and the app interface is localized into those ten.
- What formats can I export?
- Finished music videos are exported as MP4 (H.264) in 1080×1920 vertical format, which works natively on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and as a regular video upload to YouTube, Facebook, or X.
- Can I use copyrighted songs?
- Yes — you can create personal AI covers of popular songs for private sharing. Commercial use of a copyrighted song requires a license from the rights holder. The app will flag obvious commercial uploads of copyrighted material.
- What is your refund policy?
- If a generation fails for technical reasons, we refund the credits automatically. For completed videos that technically delivered what you paid for, we generally do not offer refunds — but contact support and we'll review any genuine issue case by case.
- How do I delete my account?
- Open Settings → Privacy → Delete Account in the iOS or Android app, or email hello@starsinger.ai. Account deletion is permanent and removes your voice model, uploaded photos, and all generated content within 30 days.
- How do you handle my data and privacy?
- Your voice model, uploaded photos, and generated content are stored securely and never sold. We don't share voice models with third parties. You can delete your voice data at any time from settings. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
- Is there an age requirement?
- You must be 13 or older to use Star Singer (16+ in the EU/UK). Users under 18 need a parent or guardian to agree to our Terms. Content involving minors is moderated more strictly.
- What are the minimum device requirements?
- iPhone running iOS 17.6 or newer, Android phone running Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer, or any modern desktop browser. About 200 MB of free storage is recommended for the mobile apps.
- What audio file formats can I use for voice upload or training?
- MP3, WAV, AAC, and M4A are supported. For voice training, 30 seconds to 30 minutes of clear, noise-free audio gives the best results. For song uploads, files can be up to 5 minutes 30 seconds and 50 MB.
- What video lengths and prices are available?
- A song with a beat-synced moving cover is $0.99 — and your first one is free. A music video starring you, lip-synced from a single photo for the whole song, is $7.99. Cinematic music videos are priced by the second via bundles: 15s ($2.99), 30s ($5.99), 45s ($8.99), 60s ($11.99), 120s ($23.99), or a full 5.5-minute video for $64.99 (the best per-second rate).
- What music styles are available?
- Over 20 styles including Pop, R&B/Soul, Hip-Hop/Rap, Dance/Electronic, Rock, Country, Jazz, Acoustic/Folk, Lo-Fi/Chill, Indie/Alternative, Latin/Reggaeton, Afrobeats, K-Pop, Reggae/Dancehall, Gospel, Disco/Funk, Trap, Drill, Amapiano, and Phonk/Drift.
- Tap the share button after your video is ready. Star Singer opens the native share sheet so you can post directly to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, X, or download the MP4 to edit elsewhere.
- Do you use credits or a subscription?
- Neither is required. Every creation is priced individually — $0.99 for a song with a moving cover (your first is free), $7.99 for a music video starring you from one photo, or cinematic music videos priced by the second from bundles starting at $2.99. Voice cloning is free — every video you render afterward sings in your voice.
- Can I extend a video after I purchase it?
- Yes. Any shorter video can be extended to a longer length — you only pay the price difference between the tiers. The AI preserves the same voice, face, and style for the extended portion.
- Is Star Singer on iOS and Android?
- Yes. The native iOS app is on the App Store and the native Android app is on Google Play. You can also create on the web at starsinger.ai.
- What's your content moderation policy?
- We prohibit non-consensual use of a real person's likeness or voice, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, and CSAM. We use automated moderation plus human review and will remove content and accounts that violate the rules.
- Do my creations stay private by default?
- Yes. Every video and song you create is private to your account unless you explicitly publish it to the Star Singer feed. You can re-download or delete your private creations at any time.
- Does Star Singer have an affiliate program?
