Influenced by Rashid Taha, Cheb Khaled, Can, Brian Eno. Fawzi Al-Sahra was born in the raï-soaked streets of Oran, Algeria. At 16, a diagnosis of MS forced him to trade football pitches for his grandfather's oud, an instrument he soon began warping with rock distortion pedals. Now based in Marseille, he writes his music in a small apartment overlooking the port, a collaboration with his partner Anouk, a pharmacist who helps him navigate the daily rituals of his illness. His sound is the story of this life: the defiant energy of raï fused with the atmospheric pulse of a port city, a testament to a body's limits and the spirit's refusal to accept them.

Lyrics

[Verse 1]

[Chorus]

[Bridge]

[Chorus]

[Outro]
