Lyrics
The notch on my collarbone from your locket in June.
Under the orange glow of the Bramall Lane moon.
Still feel the cold of the metal, a ghost on the skin.
A map of the places we can't get back in.
[Chorus]
Just pressure marks now.
Faded in plain sight.
[Verse 2]
"Don't be mardy," you said, "it's only a scratch."
A thin silver line 'bove the Attercliffe gasworks flash.
The air tastes of drizzle, the third week of Lent.
The shape of your silence is all that you sent.
[Chorus]
Just pressure marks now.
Faded in plain sight.
[Bridge]
The hum from the pylon's a permanent guest.
Just another vibration I've laid to rest.
[Outro]
Marks... now...
In plain sight...
