MY DAD IS THE BEST 🎸

Some nights we’re laughing through it all.
Back to the lobby, forget the score,
You look at me and say, “One more?”

My dad is the best, yeah, my dad is the best,
Those nights with you beat all the rest.
Of all the teammates I could choose,
You’re my first pick, win or lose.
Turn it up, let everybody know,
You make me laugh wherever we go.
One more game? You know I’ll say yes—
My dad, my dad, my dad is the best!

Minecraft nights and a house we made,
“Just one more block,” so we both stay.
There’s a creeper outside, better shut that door—
Well, there goes half of the kitchen floor!

Gamble With Your Friends, another round,
You get me laughing at the worst joke around.
One poop joke and we both lose track,
I say, “That’s gross!” then I laugh right back.

My dad is the best, yeah, my dad is the best,
Those nights with you beat all the rest.
Of all the teammates I could choose,
You’re my first pick, win or lose.
Turn it up, let everybody know,
You make me laugh wherever we go.
One more game? You know I’ll say yes—
My dad, my dad, my dad is the best!

Someday these games might look pretty old,
And we’ll forget how many wins we hold.
But I’ll remember your laugh next to me,
And how you always made time for our team.

My dad is the best, yeah, my dad is the best,
Those nights with you beat all the rest.
Of all the teammates I could choose,
You’re my first pick, win or lose.
Forty-seven, with a kid’s funny side,
And I’m so glad that you’re on mine.
One more game? You know I’ll say yes—
My dad, my dad, my dad is the best!

The screen goes dark, but I’m still smiling…
“Same time tomorrow?”
“Yeah. Count me in.”
