Devil Evicted

[Verse 1]
The Devil checked the lease—then he checked right out,
Landlord watched the footage, grabbed his keys, got out.
Lord Catastrophe, black throne, skull centerpiece,
Hellfire hit the brakes when I stepped on the premises.
Death sent me paperwork; I sent back his keys,
Now the Grim Reaper’s on hold: “Press one to grieve.”

[Chorus]
The Devil got evicted, the Reaper got canned,
I don’t take the throne—I take the whole damn land.
Pray, run, scream, hide when the whole world goes black—
I’m already inside, and there’s no getting back.

[Verse 2]
Steel-toed boots punched dents in Heaven’s front gate,
Saint Peter said, “Who?” I said, “Your boss’s mistake.”
God checked my file—just a blank-ass screen,
Even all-knowing couldn’t tell what I mean.
My shadow pays taxes, my mirror talks back,
Got banned from the void for excessive attack.

[Bridge]
They built a wall—I walked through.
They wrote a law—I outlived it.
They called upstairs. God declined.
Checked the clock? I own the night.

[Outro]
The Devil packed; Death turned in the keys.
Rent’s due, landlord—guess who’s on the lease?
