My Portion Forever

[Verse 1]
You took the wheel, Lord; I laid mine down,
And evil lost its hold on me.
You gave me an inheritance time can’t wear away—
No rust, no moths, just seeds that bloom and multiply.
My life is Yours; my portion is Your name.

[Chorus]
Jesus, You’re my portion, my soul’s inheritance,
No treasure in this world could take Your place.
Heaven and earth will pass; Your Word remains—
My hope, my rescue, my forever, Jesus.

[Verse 2]
Your Word is bread enough for all my days;
This empty world can’t give the life You promised.
Come while the door is open; leave it all behind—
In You, the restless soul can finally rest.
Father, You gave Your only Son to save us.

[Bridge]
The finest gift the Father could give
Was held close to His heart, then given for us.
Through Jesus, we have life that never ends—
A love no one could ever give but Him.

[Outro]
Praise You, Jesus, my forever and my all.
Amen.
