Ironic encounter

[Verse 1]
The moment I saw you,
something changed in me
Like a harmony I never knew
was waiting to be free

You walked into my sight,
and suddenly the world felt bright
I never believed in first sight love
'til you proved me right

[Pre-Chorus]
You were a beam of light,
shining through my night
I thought I had it all,
I thought I could fly

[Chorus]
Oh, what an irony
You were everything I wanted you to be
You made me feel invincible,
then left me asking why
How could the brightest light
be the reason I learned to cry?

Oh, what an irony
I found myself while losing you and me
You were the dream I couldn't see through
Until the dream became you

[Verse 2]
Every day I see your face
at the back of my mind
Like a scene I keep replaying
that I can't leave behind

Your smile, your eyes,
the way you walked
You made me feel like a tycoon,
ruling everything I thought

[Pre-Chorus]
You were a beam of light,
shining through my night
I thought I had it all,
I thought I could fly

[Chorus]
Oh, what an irony
You were everything I wanted you to be
You made me feel invincible,
then left me asking why
How could the brightest light
be the reason I learned to cry?

Oh, what an irony
I found myself while losing you and me
You were the dream I couldn't see through
Until the dream became you

[Outro]
Maybe some encounters
aren't meant to stay
Maybe they're just lessons
wearing someone's face

And that's the irony
I thought I met you
to find love

Maybe I met you
to find me
