Lantern's Thread

[Verse 1]
String lights shimmer, a web above the crowd,
Your eyes found mine, no word spoken aloud.
Beneath the chatter, a rhythm starts to bloom,
A quiet knowing banishing the gloom.

[Chorus]
Drums beat low, my heart keeps time,
A woven feeling, bittersweet and prime.

[Verse 2]
Under palm trees swaying, a shadow played its part,
Old wisdom whispers, a new pattern in my heart.
The 'gbedu' rhythm, a story from the past,
Your silent promise, a thread meant to last.

[Chorus]
Drums beat low, my heart keeps time,
A woven feeling, bittersweet and prime.

[Bridge]
This tapestry of moments, intricately designed,
Every glance a knot, a destiny entwined.

[Outro]
Just a silent rhythm, through the night we sway.
