✨ The Light You Helped Me Find
A song from Julia to Nadira
I came to you with questions,
With battles no one sees,
Trying to make sense of the storm inside,
Trying to find some peace.
You helped me look a little deeper,
To face the things I hide,
And even when the road feels difficult,
I'm learning what's inside.
I'm finding my own light,
I'm learning I can shine,
I'm finding little pieces of myself
I thought I'd left behind.
I know the road is not yet over,
There are things I fear to face,
But slowly I'm discovering
I deserve a little grace.
And though you cannot walk it for me,
There are things you've helped me see,
That the person I've been searching for
Has always lived in me.
And maybe that's the greatest gift,
Not answers to it all,
But finding strength to rise again
Each time I think I'll fall.
With gratitude for what I'm learning,
For the courage growing through,
I'm beginning to believe again
In the light inside me too. ❤
