Luminous Echo

Beneath the luminescent glow of El Poblado's haze,
A quiet echo shifted, through the city's winding maze.
The humid air held stories, etched in every verdant climb,
Then a face turned, spoke my name, defying fractured time.

Then a voice called out my name, the city felt it too,
A fresh foundation, rising, honest and true.
The dream's façade shining, breaking through.

I saw the long shadows stretch, familiar, yet unknown,
From cracked colonial walls where childhood seeds were sown.
The hum of life, a constant rhythm, now it felt complete,
This fragile dream, no longer ghosting through the street.

The petrichor still rising, after sudden, cleansing rain,
Washed away the doubt, washed away the pain.
A fragile peace, this sudden architectural grace,
A yearning quieted, finding its rightful place.

Just a gaze in passing, a quiet, knowing nod,
