Yeah, yeah… ohh…

Yeah, yeah… ohh…

I got trust issues, I can’t lie,
Too many times I asked myself why.
I gave my heart, they played their part,
Now I’m scared to let someone in my heart.

They said “I’m here,” then disappeared,
Now I don’t believe the words I hear.
I act so tough, but deep inside,
There’s so much pain that I hide.

I wanna trust, but I’m too scared,
‘Cause when I needed love, nobody cared.
I smile all day, but they don’t know,
I’m still hurt from things I don’t show.

I gave my love, I gave my best,
But every time, I got more stress.
Now when they say that they won’t leave,
It’s hard to trust what I can’t believe.

Ohh, tell me why, why do I feel this way?
Why do I push good people away?
I ain’t heartless, I just been hurt,
Gave too much love, got pain in return.

And if I seem cold, don’t take it wrong,
I’ve been fighting these feelings for too long.
I wanna love without being afraid,
But I’m still healing from the promises they made.

Ohh, yeah…
I just want someone who stays,
Someone who means what they say. 🖤
