Lyrics
My own mother looked right through me
A familiar ghost she knew
Told my own heart just to leave me
Nothing good that it can do
[Chorus]
And the people got tired and left me
And my thoughts are not my friends
[Verse 2]
This condition that I’m in now
Hates the bones and hates the skin
And I don’t remember how
To let anybody in
[Bridge]
This depression hit and broke me
It’s a state I can’t escape
[Outro]
Even I don't recognize me
In the mirror, in this shape
