Monkey woke up upside down

Fluffy clouds are passing by!

Swing, swing, swing along,
Monkey makes a silly song!
Wiggle, wiggle, tail so brown,
Round and round, then upside down!

Crawl, crawl, along the tree,
Look how silly I can be!
Lulu laughs and flaps her wings,
“Monkey does the funniest things!”

Banana yellow, yummy treat,
Upside down it tastes so sweet!
Oops! It slips and starts to fall,
Monkey catches it — got it all!
Wiggle left and wiggle right,
Monkey dances with delight!
Shake your tail and clap your hands,
Dance along in monkeyland!
Birds fly round from tree to tree,
“Come and dance along with me!”
Monkey swings and Lulu sings,
Everybody flaps their wings!

Where's our monkey? Can you see?
Hiding in the leafy tree!
Peek-a-boo! There he is!
Monkey gives a funny kiss!

Spin around and count to four,
Monkey spins and spins some more!
Round and round, then stop and say,
“Hip hip hooray for upside-down day!”

Golden sunshine fills the sky,
Monkey swings way up so high!
Lulu rests beside her friend,
Happy fun that never ends!

Down, down, down, the monkey goes,
Happy smile and wiggly toes!
Milo waves and Lulu sings,
Everybody flap your wings!

Upside down was lots of fun,
Singing, swinging in the sun!
Wave goodbye and shout, “Hooray!”
See you on our monkey day!

Bye-bye, friends, it's time to go,
Clap your hands and wiggle slow!
Come back soon and sing with me,
Monkey fun for you and me!
