Lyrics
I see your ghost in every car that passes by
Deleted all your pictures but they’re burned into my mind
This city feels so empty, just a million little lights
I'm breathing in the memory on these cold Tirana nights
[Chorus]
You're the name I almost say when someone asks for mine
Yeah, we said that it was over, but you never left my mind
[Verse 2]
The 808 is knocking but my heart don't feel the beat
Just a phantom of you standing on this empty street
I trace the faded lipstick stain you left upon the glass
Pretending for a second that the moment’s gonna last
[Bridge]
They tell me time will fix this, that I just have to let go
But a love like ours leaves wreckage that nobody else can know
[Outro]
We said that it was over
But you never left my mind
