MY TIME IS COMING

I don't need the world to notice,
I don't need the crowd to cheer.
I'm working on the girl I'm becoming,
And I'm getting closer every year.

I've got dreams inside my heart,
Some are bigger than they seem.
And every little step I take
Is bringing me closer to the dream.

My time is coming,
I can feel it in my soul.
I'm not rushing, I'm not running,
I'm just growing toward my goal.

My time is coming,
And when that moment arrives,
I'll look back at who I was
And be proud of this life.

I won't let one bad day
Tell me what tomorrow means.
I can stumble, I can learn,
I can still chase my dreams.

And when my friends are by my side,
We'll laugh about the days we had.
All the tiny little moments
Will become the memories that we treasure.

My time is coming,
Even if I can't see when.
I'll keep believing in myself
Again and again and again.

Maybe someday I'll stand somewhere
I once only dreamed about.
And I'll whisper to my younger self,
"Look at us now."

So let the future take its time.
I'm ready when it comes.

My time is coming.
And I'm only getting started. ✨
