Lyrics
ARTIST: FRANK TEK MEDIA
Welcome to Frank Tek Media.
Where faith meets music, and music touches the soul.
This song is a prayer from the heart to our Heavenly Father.
Wherever you are, take a moment, close your eyes, and draw nearer to God.
May His love guide your life.
Frank Tek Media presents…
Nearer to God, My Thee.
In the quiet of the morning, Father, hear my prayer,
When the road is dark before me, I know that You are there.
Through the trials and the sorrow, through the sunshine and the rain,
You have been my strength and refuge, through every joy and pain.
Take my hand and lead me higher,
Fill my heart with holy fire.
Every breath and every day,
Lord, I give my life Your way.
Nearer to God, my Thee,
Draw my soul eternally.
Let Your light shine over me,
Set my troubled spirit free.
Nearer, nearer, Lord, I pray,
Walk beside me all the way.
You are my hope, my victory,
Forever, Lord, draw me near.
When the tears fall in the darkness, You can see my hidden pain,
When my strength is slowly fading, Your love lifts me up again.
Though the world may turn against me, I will trust Your holy name,
You are yesterday's tomorrow, You forever stay the same.
Take my hand and lead me higher,
Fill my heart with holy fire.
Every breath and every day,
Lord, I give my life Your way.
Nearer to God, my Thee,
Draw my soul eternally.
Let Your light shine over me,
Set my troubled spirit free.
Nearer, nearer, Lord, I pray,
Walk beside me all the way.
You are my hope, my victory,
Forever, Lord, draw me near.
Lead me, Jesus!
Choir: Lead me, Lord!
Hold me, Jesus!
Choir: Hold me, Lord!
When I'm weak, be my strength!
Choir: Be my strength!
Till the end, I'll praise Your name!
Choir: Praise Your name!
I surrender all to You,
Every dream and all I do.
Let Your will be done in me,
For Your love has set me free!
Nearer to God, my Thee,
For all eternity!
Heavenly Father, hear my plea,
Let Your love live inside me!
Nearer, nearer, Lord, I pray,
Never let me lose my way.
You are my beginning and my end,
My Saviour, my Lord, my faithful friend!
Nearer, nearer, draw me near,
In Your presence, there's no fear.
Every moment, faithfully,
Lord, draw me nearer unto Thee.
Thank you for listening.
May the peace of God remain with you today and forever.
Keep believing. Keep praying. Keep praising.
This has been a Frank Tek Media gospel presentation.
God bless you.
Amen…
Amen…
Draw me nearer, Lord…
Amen.
