Lyrics
The train smoke fades, the dust has settled down
I see your face in this old, familiar town
I walked the stones where we made our first vow
And nothing else matters to me now
[Chorus]
Let the fiddle cry, let the trumpets blow
I’m home with you, not letting go
[Verse 2]
I left the noise and the empty city lights
For the fire burning in your eyes so bright
All of the lonely, aching nights
Are gone the second that you hold me tight
[Bridge]
They promised fortunes, silver and gold
But your love's the only story to be told
[Outro]
Back in your arms, I'm home.
