Lyrics
Bouncy, playful kids’ song
Hey, hey, everybody, gather round!
There’s a story with a splashy sound!
Grab your friends and stomp your feet,
Noah’s story has a happy beat!
God said, “Noah, build a boat!”
A great big boat that floats and floats!
Noah said, “Yes!” and got to work,
He didn’t stop, he didn’t shirk!
Tap, tap, tap! went Noah’s tool,
Bang, bang, bang!—he followed God’s rule!
Big, big boards from side to side,
Noah built the ark up wide!
Build it up! Build it up!
Make it strong and make it tough!
Rain comes down—drip, drip, drop!
But Noah trusts God—never stops!
Two by two! Two by two!
Here come the animals—look at you!
Two by two! Two by two!
God keeps Noah safely through!
Here come lions—ROAR, ROAR, ROAR!
Here come elephants—STOMP some more!
Giraffes go tall, tall, tall,
Little mice go small, small, small!
Zebra stripes go black and white,
Parrots flap with all their might!
Bears go grrr and monkeys swing,
What a funny boat they bring!
Step inside—one, two!
Step inside—three, four!
Animals are coming through the door!
Big and small, short and tall,
There is room for them all!
Build it up! Build it up!
Make it strong and make it tough!
Rain comes down—drip, drip, drop!
But Noah trusts God—never stops!
Two by two! Two by two!
Here come the animals—look at you!
Two by two! Two by two!
God keeps Noah safely through!
Drip, drip, drip!
Drop, drop, drop!
Rain came down and wouldn’t stop!
Splash, splash, splash!
The waters grew,
But Noah knew what God would do!
Sail, sail, sail!
Rock, rock, rock!
Noah’s boat went tick-tock-tock!
Then one day—HEY!
The rain was gone!
Out came the sun with a brand-new dawn!
Rainbow, rainbow, shining bright!
Colors dancing in the light!
God made a promise, strong and true,
“I will always care for you!”
Red, orange, yellow, green,
Blue and purple—what a scene!
Rainbow, rainbow, in the sky,
God’s love is shining way up high!
Two by two! Two by two!
Noah trusted God, and so can you!
Clap, clap, clap! Stomp, stomp, stomp!
Jump up high—BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!
Noah’s Ark! Noah’s Ark!
Shining like a rainbow spark!
Sing it loud, sing it true—
God keeps His promises to you!
Bye-bye, Noah!
Bye-bye, crew!
Bye-bye, animals—one by two!
Clap your hands and shout, “HOORAY!”
God keeps His promises every day!
