It’s Monday night
Tired as always ..
Spend all day in the car..blasting music
on my headphones..
Thinking about something
Or thinking about nothing at all..
Barely read the book I brought..
My mind was going somewhere else..
And I loved it still
Tried to stop it..
It never listened..
Oh is it messing around?
Or is there another way to describe it?

It seems like it’s running running running away..
When I really really really want it to stay…
I really can’t focus and it’s late..
It’s blank it’s black..

Really can’t even see it..

When I tell you I wanna focus more and it’s true
