All of Us

In this home of faith and laughter, through every storm and cheer.
From “Where’s your other sock?” to prayers before we sleep,
Allah’s mercy fills these rooms—and love runs wonderfully deep.

Halal on the table, kettle singing through the rain,
Someone tells a joke so bad we laugh and groan again.
We teach the kids to be gentle, to be brave, to do what’s right,
Then step on building blocks in the dark—our family’s little rite.

One day these tiny voices will be taller than the door,
But they’ll know what home feels like, and what we’re grateful for.
Through every busy weekday, every prayer and playful fuss,
The best thing in this house is all of us.

Sanah, Zachariah, Yousuf—my favourite place to be,
A little faith, a lot of laughs, and all of you with me.
