Favorite Melody

[Verse 1]
Sixteen years ago, two searching hearts found their way
Curtis, you became my safe place, my home at the end of the day
We were looking for a better road, not knowing what we’d find
Then your hand found mine, and you became my favorite melody

[Chorus]
You’re the love of my life, the one I want beside me
Through every high and heartbreak, you’re still where I belong
Our girls are our greatest verses, Haley, Brie, Hope, Collins
And Wilder Lee’s the new chorus our hearts were waiting on

[Verse 2]
Four girls changed our world in ways we couldn’t have known
Each one brought her own kind of magic and made our family whole
Then Wilder came along, with a smile that made us new
Grandparents side by side, learning love all over, too

[Bridge]
We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, faced storms we never saw coming
Still I want your hand in mine when the years keep on running
Let’s build the home we’ve dreamed of, watch our girls take flight
And show Wilder Lee the world, with you there by my side

[Outro]
When life pulls us apart, let love lead us back through
Curtis, every song I treasure still comes back to you
