End Of The Story

[Verse 1]
You walk through the door, say you're dead on your feet
But when your friends call, you're gone in a beat
Claiming you're tired and need to unwind
Then find a new energy I can never seem to find.

[Chorus]
After work, it's just drinking again
I'm waiting for you, but you're out with them
You choose the bottle, and leave me behind.

[Verse 2]
When I ask you out, you say "give me a rest"
But a call from your boys always passes the test
You say that you're drained, you can't even move
'Til the thought of a party gives you something to prove.

[Bridge]
Oh Ryescarlson, so this is your life's story?
Work, then the bar… and that’s the end of the story.

[Outro]
Work is all over, the day is done
Don't forget who's waiting at home.
