God Knew We Needed You, Mom

You've loved us through it all
And no matter what life brings our way
You're always there when we call

Chorus
God knew we needed you, Mom
He knew just what to do
He gave us a heart so full of love
And a strength that carries through
You're our laughter, you're our shelter
You're a blessing from above
And we'll thank the Lord forever
For giving us your love

Verse 2
You've been there through the hardest days
And made the good ones shine
You've taught us more than you could know
Just by being by our side
You're more than just our mother
You're our friend through thick and thin
And if we had to choose again
We'd choose you every time

Chorus
God knew we needed you, Mom
He knew just what to do
He gave us a heart so full of love
And a strength that carries through
You're our laughter, you're our shelter
You're a blessing from above
And we'll thank the Lord forever
For giving us your love

Bridge
So tonight we ask the Lord above
To bless you year by year
To give you joy and happiness
And remind you we are near
May every prayer you've ever prayed
Come back to you somehow
Because you deserve the very best
And we hope you feel it now

Final Chorus
God knew we needed you, Mom
And we're thankful that He knew
Three hearts are singing just for you
With a love that's strong and true
Through every road and every season
One thing will always stay
We'll be grateful that you're our mom
Every single day
